European Council Approves New ESG Ratings Regulations

Set to take effect in 2026, the new ESG ratings regulation is set to bring greater transparency to rating agencies. These rules will require agencies to disclose their methodology, models, and key assumptions, separate their business activities, and reveal individual E, S, and G scores, along with several other key measures.

We've dived deep into our data, covering 10K issuers, to bring you some insights on the good old SDGs!  We’ve broken it down to reveal the number of entities making a negative, positive, very negative, or very positive impact on each SDG. For instance, with SDG 13, we found that 3590 entities have a negative or very negative impact, while only 1418 are driving positive change. Have fun exploring!
