After two years without public at Annual General Meetings (AGM) due to Corona, some companies have returned to holding face-to-face events. This did not positively impact the exercise of voting rights, and the time concentration of the AGM increased.
However, the board of directors have more often allowed shareholders to ask questions in advance. In the future, the board of directors will be more confronted with diverging shareholders’ interests and must have consistent answers to these.
