In the run-up to the AGM season 2022, Inrate has given even greater weight to sustainability in the area of proxy voting.
To this end, we have introduced a new category 5 «Sustainability and information policy» in the «zRating» with new criteria (e.g., involvement in controversies). If a company’s score on sustainability (category 5.1) is 0 points, Inrate can refuse to discharge («Décharge») the executive bodies or individual members.
We will also address these issues as part of our engagement with all companies in the Swiss Performance Index.
